Shambalam is a very nice new hostel at a very good location. The staff is most welcoming and helpful with anything you need - from bike rentals to recommendations where to go, party or to eat. The rooms are clean with their own bathrooms and lockers. Apart from the kitchen which needs a little improvement the hostel is great.
It was more than I expected. I booked 6 bed dorm for girls, they have their own toilet and shower room in the dorm. -clean and new bathroom -rent a bicicletas, towel, laundry -chilling space, bar, pools -the staff is nice and kind You deserve all.

We had a mixup with rooms. My suggestion would be to call in 2 days in advance to insure you have a room. This is a new hostel so cut them some slack as they are starting up their entrepreneurial adventure. Christopher will help you out no matter what. 10/10 and earned my respect.
Amazing hostal. It's one of those places that easily beats the quality prices ratio! Personnel is really nice and welcoming. Ask for "el güero" he can make all your dreams come true.
This hostel is still fairly new and they’ve been hosting guests around a year now. It has a really cool interior, friendly staff and great vibe. When I was there, it felt more like being with good friends than just visiting a hostel. The dorms itself are quite packed with beds, but are clean, have an AC and their own bathroom. Definitely ask the owners for some tips on what to do. I can recommend their recommendations! Very fun people to hang out with ;-)
